Many professions have lots of conference, but no one has as many conferences as sales people. Sales conventions are as common as apple pie. There are so many ways to get down from having bad sales, leaders figure that they need to stay highly motivated. I have been to many events that turned out to be even more depressing than my slow sales. I always enjoy the convention when they bring in really great sales speakers. I’m talking about someone who is motivational and has been a great salesman in the past, Someone who can inspire me and my coworkers to really want to get out and get back into the field. You know the kind of speaker I’m talking about. You just feel the energy on the stage when they start talking and keep you on the edge of your seat. There are not too many people that can make it happen, but I appreciate when they do.
